Grade 7 · Learning through firsthand experience

A living lesson in marine biology.

The school’s published grade 7 experience takes students to the Florida Keys in February. Marine environments and coral reefs make science tangible, with snorkeling and firsthand observation connecting study to living ecosystems.

A closer look at creation.

The experience extends to the Everglades, where an airboat excursion offers opportunities to observe alligators and wild birds in their habitat. Exploring different environments helps students see the variety and interconnectedness of the natural world.

Faith travels, too.

Students join local churches for Sabbath worship and participate in literature evangelism and community service. Learning about the world is paired with opportunities to care for the people in it.
